Policy

Cancellation Policy: At least 2-weeks prior to the start of class, email your request to cancel to rayna@hchomeschooling.org and you’ll receive a 50% refund. No refund is offered when a membership is terminated due to expulsion.

Min. Class Size: HCHC reserves the right to cancel classes/workshops no less than 2 days before class begins if registration is under (4) four participants. In this event, you’ll be notified by phone or e-mail and offered tuition credits.

Anti-Bullying Policy: We’re committed to each student’s success, which we believe stems from learning in a caring and safe environment. Therefore, HCHC reserves the right to expel any student found guilty of violence, bullying or discrimination.

Suspension/Expulsion: Disruptive people who engage in bad conduct such as, but not limited to foul language, violence, destruction of property, lewdness, bullying or discriminatory behavior are subject to dismissal.

Teacher Bill of Rights: An assessment occurs during the first 2-weeks of class to observe your child’s temperament and determine their academic skill level.  After the assessment period, teachers have the right to remove or dismiss any student they find to be disruptive.

Student Bill of Rights: Our co-operative works to ensure that all students have the support they need to achieve their fullest academic and social potential. Each student has a right to:

  • Learn in a safe and friendly environment,
  • Be treated with kindness and respect, and
  • Receive the help and support of caring adults.

Parent Responsibility: Parents are expected to serve on a co-op committee.  Click here to review descriptions and select one that best suits your skill set.
