DESCRIPTION:Some kids were never meant to choose between theater and engineering. \nHCHC is building an Odyssey of the Mind competition team\, and we’re looking for homeschool students who can:\n🎭 Act\n✍🏽 Write\n🔨 Build\n⚙️ Engineer\n🎨 Design \nOdyssey of the Mind combines STEM\, theater\, creative problem-solving\, and teamwork as students prepare for a regional competition in March. SUMMARY:Fall Farm Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:This field trip is a continuation of the hands-on workshop from the previous week. \nWednesday\, October 28\nClark’s Elioak Farm\n10:00 AM–12:00 PM \nParents must attend the farm field trip with their children. \nThe group visit includes: \n\nEnjoy the farm play areas\nExplore the Enchanted Forest\nHayride through the farm fields\nPick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch\nVisit with the petting farm animals and feed the goats\nSee Spookley the Square Pumpkin anti-bullying storyboards\n\nHCHC Student Field Trip Fee: $22 per child\nThis includes the farm’s $13 group admission\, pumpkin\, HCHC teacher facilitation during the two-hour experience\, and event coordination/materials. \nAdult chaperones: $6 each\nParents must attend with their children. Adult admission does not include a pumpkin.\nA minimum of 10 registered children is required for the farm’s group rate. \nIf the minimum isn’t reached\, families will be notified before the reservation is finalized. \nWe encourage students to wear FTO on field trips.
