MIDDLE SCHOOL consists of 15+ students in Grades 6-8 who are immersed in an in-person, co-ed school environment.
Our homeschool program fosters collaboration. The “free range” approach enables students to pursue their academic interests. Through Socratic discussion and active listening our teachers provide students and parents with thoughtful feedback, guidance, and support throughout the 28-week academic school year. Students are assessed to determine proper placement. AP level courses and 1-on-1 tutoring are available (Algebra ll).

One key focus at the middle school level is teaching students common life science topics including:
- Scientific classification
- Cells and cell structure
- Heredity and genetics
- Human organ systems
Students are taught by classically trained musicians. Lessons include music theory and may require the purchase of additional books not included in tuition. Students must possess their own instrument. Rentals are not available. Instruction is available for the following:
Students learn the basics of chess. Students learn fast decision-making skills, evaluate alternatives, and learn multiple ways to win through guided instruction and opportunities to play opponents. This course improves:

- Abstract Reasoning
Students are taught by native speakers. Instructors focus on students speaking, reading and writing while learning about dialects, history, and the customs of the country. Languages offered include:
- Chinese
- Japanese
- Spanish I
- Spanish II
Coached by professional trainers, students are given the opportunity to participate in seasonal, individual and team sports including the following:
Students enjoy hands–on learning and weekly in–person instruction led by certified instructors at satellite locations – giving co–op students the opportunity to partake in niche activities such as:
