CONGRATS! – You’ve taken the first step towards providing your child with a high-quality, home education that includes healthy socialization. Thanks for choosing HCHC – a non-profit organization headquartered in Columbia, Maryland serving the entire state of Maryland.

OUR STORY – In 2013, HCHC consisted of a group of stay-at-home moms (SAHM) who met with regularity at local Howard County parks. In 2015 (with 7 families onboard), HCHC formally organized as a non-denominational cooperative under the supervision of the High Council Holy Church providing a secular curriculum to families from all backgrounds and faiths. In 2016, HCHC incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In 2017, it was recognized as an education ministry and umbrella group certified by the Maryland State Department of Education. In 2020 the non-profit partnered with Liberty University to include a dual-enrollment program for homeschoolers. In 2022, HCHC was officially declared a church-exempt, non-public school. The organization is set to open its doors to high school students in the fall of 2023, utilizing its accreditation with Cognia to issue certified HS diplomas. As HCHC continues to expand and grow, we welcome you and your family to join our like-minded tribe of families as we travel along our homeschool paths and journey!
