PLAN THE PATH
To support strong learning, HCHC instructors are expected to arrive with a clear road map, including lesson plans and a class syllabus that outline goals and direction. These don’t need to be rigid, just intentional and thoughtfully planned.
Preparation gives you the freedom to ask great questions, follow student curiosity, and adapt in the moment. When teachers are prepared, students thrive and learning stays meaningful and engaging.
ARE YOU PREPARED?
At HCHC, we value a relaxed and welcoming learning environment. Our classrooms are hands-on, student-centered, and intentionally designed to spark curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
Teachers are encouraged to guide students through play, exploration, and Socratic discussion, asking thoughtful questions that invite students to think deeply and engage meaningfully.
At the same time, a relaxed environment does not mean an unprepared one. Structure and preparation provide the foundation that allows creativity, curiosity, and connection to flourish in the classroom.
TNG DATA ENTRY
HCHC instructors must input data into Teach N’ Go to track attendance, behavior, and to enter grades at the end of each semester. Watch videos in the TNG Library to better navigate the system.
It’s strongly recommended that instructors record class attendance the day of, and make notes while their memory is fresh.
