Wonderful World of Worms!

This is a great introduction for students to learn how they can make a difference in the environment by learning about composting. With this program, students learn about earthworms and their role in composting. They see the entire cycle from “yucky” food scraps or other organic waste to the final product. This hands on experience includes dirt, worms and other organic matter. All students get to take home a plant they pot using the special worm compost.

NOTE:

• Hayride through the Cattail Creek included.
• Bring a lunch to enjoy by the pond during the lunch hour.
• Parents must provide transportation and meetup with the school group at the farm.
